Marquis Hopkins PA-C
Florida Sports Orthopaedic & Spine Medicine is saddened by the loss of one of our most valuable team members: Marquis Hopkins, an assistant to Dr. Torke for the last 15 years has passed away.
He will be missed for the love, hard work, and laughter that he brought to both our patients and team here at Florida Sports Orthopaedic & Spine Medicine. Marquis has affected our lives and made the world a better place. It is an honor to call you a friend and
“Marquis was my right hand these past 15 years. Since I’ve known him he was frequently burdened by severe health issues that would have laid a lesser man low long before.
He had a great heart and a spirit that I believe drove him as far as it did in this life. Perhaps that is the part of him that was the true “athlete” that he always said he was.
He loved his family, had a great work ethic, and always strove to make everyone around him comfortable.
It is not fair that he departed so soon and I will miss him. I have to believe he is in a better place watching over the people he loved.”
